Family Law Cases

Bill Wells has handled a wide sampling of family law cases, and his objective in resolving these

emotional cases is to use his experience to work with the parties, the courts, mediators and opposing

counsel to resolve the issues in a reasonable and expeditious manner. Some cases require resolving

the issues before a Court or Jury, but the majority of family law issues can and should be resolved

through legal, binding agreements.

Bill Wells will schedule an appointment to meet with you in confidence to discuss any of your family

law or divorce issues. Mr. Wells will discuss with you the child support guidelines in the State of

Texas; grounds for divorce such as no-fault and fault based grounds for divorce; division of property,

including retirement accounts; and all other divorce and family law related issues. Mr. Wells will also

seek spousal support for spouses that qualify under the Texas Family Code.

There are many divorce cases that need immediate action. Temporary Orders can be sought to obtain

temporary relief such as child support and spousal support. Child custody and visitation issues can

also be addressed in temporary Orders. Some cases require Temporary Restraining Orders and Bill

Wells is experienced in seeking TRO's from the Texas Courts.
