A grocery store patron was exiting a grocery store and the front wheel of the grocery cart fell in a parking lot pothole, which was hard to distinguish from the rest of the lot because it was filled with water, and the cart flipped over causing the shopper to fall and suffer injury. Litigation investigation revealed that the owner of the shopping center had many prior complaints for months from their tenants regarding the potholes in the parking lot. The owner of the shopping center settled with our client and they also re-paved the entire lot to the benefit of all of their tenants and future customers.
