A Texas college student was on a boating outing that turned horribly wrong as a result of a young, inexperienced boater who was operating the boat. The boat operator’s inexperience and lack of safety knowledge regarding the use of the boats equipment led to a serious hand injury to our client requiring surgery. The insurance carrier for the boat owner settled the claim with our client.
